As an Assistant Credentialing Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the provider credentialing process, ensuring healthcare professionals meet payer and regulatory requirements to deliver patient care. You'll support credentialing, recredentialing, provider data management, and enrollment activities while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with insurance networks and internal stakeholders.
You directly contribute to provider compliance, network participation, and uninterrupted access to care for patients.

🚀 What You'll Do
✅ Maintain complete and accurate provider credentialing records and documentation.
✅ Manage and update system profiles, ensuring all required information and attestations remain current.
✅ Prepare and submit provider credentialing and enrollment applications to health plans and insurance carriers.
✅ Track credentialing and enrollment applications through completion.
✅ Communicate with insurance networks, credentialing departments, and providers to obtain status updates and required documentation.
✅ Support provider recredentialing processes and ensure timely renewals.
✅ Review provider documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance requirements.
✅ Assist with provider demographic updates, roster submissions, and ongoing maintenance activities.
✅ Maintain organized credentialing files and databases.
✅ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure providers are credentialed and enrolled efficiently.

✅ Experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, healthcare administration, medical billing, or related healthcare operations is preferred.
✅ Knowledge of credentialing requirements, and provider enrollment processes is a strong advantage.
✅ Familiarity with EMR systems and SharePoint is a plus.
